Names of Arkansas National Guardsmen killed in plane crash released

Two Arkansas National Guardsmen were killed in a plane crash in Camden Sunday evening.

A guard spokesperson identified those killed as CW2 Rufus Ferron Brown, 42, of Arkadelphia and CW2 Justin Levon Ashley, 31, of North Little Rock.  

Investigators are attempting to determine the cause of the crash. Both service members were off duty at the time.

Brown is survived by a wife and three children. Ashley is survived by a wife and two children. Both were pilots with the Bravo Company 2-285th Aviation Helicopter Assault Regiment at Camp Robinson in Little Rock.
