BREAKING! Search underway again for possible drowning victim on Mulberry

Crews are out again today looking for a possible drowning victim on the Mulberry River.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office responded to a drowning call on Sunday night after a man disappeared while swimming in the Mulberry River.

Sheriff Anthony Boen said they received the call around 5:15 p.m. that a man got caught in the current and disappeared in the water. The search was suspended after several hours and will resume Monday morning.

Franklin County deputies, Arkansas Game and Fish and swift water rescue crews searched the river near the area of Shores Lake Road.
