Kelsea Ballerini took her TikTok followers to new levels on Thursday (December 8), sharing proof that she survived a windy visit to the “secret 104th floor” of the Empire State Building in New York.

Ballerini described the scene atop the iconic New York City building as “cloudy cute,” and “[Alex Papiccio] and i were serving fear of heights.” Holding onto the railing, Ballerini made it around the narrow walkway, and the two posed in the doorway once they made it. Followers of the GRAMMY Award-nominated country artist dropped comments, “I just wanna know the series of events/mistakes that led to this situation 😂😂,” “THIS REMINDS ME OF CATS CLIMBING THINGS THEY SHOULDNT,” and “The amount of times I watched this and laughed 😂,” to name a few. Papiccio said, “it’s the absolute (chaos) of us posing at the end for me.”

The Empire State Building stands at more than 1,450 feet, including the spire and antenna at the top. It ranks as the 4th tallest building in New York City, the 6th tallest building in the U.S., and the 43rd tallest in the world, according to the Empire State Building’s facts and figures.

Ballerini shared the experience on TikTok, playing “If You Go Down (I’m Goin’ Down Too).” It’s one of 15 songs included on her latest album, Subject To Change, which released in September. Ballerini previously said of the song that serves as a tribute to friends: “it’s giving thelma and louise mary anne and wanda ride or die through calm and chaos a thank god for friends bippity bop.”
