Parmalee’s vibrant new anthem about a whirlwind romance with a cowgirl is making its debut on iHeartCountry stations for the first time.
The band — made up of brothers Matt Thomas and Scott Thomas, cousin Barry Knox and Josh McSwain — previously teased social media followers with sneak peeks of “Cowgirl,” stirring anticipation for its release. Parmalee's bright, pop-infused country single is about falling in love with “somebody different that has you going out (and) trying new things, and you love every minute of it.”
Parmalee, named with a nod to the band’s North Carolina hometown (the group took part in the massive, star-studded Concert for Carolina for Hurricane Helene relief), looks ahead to an electrifying series of live shows in 2025. The band's first single of the year inspired the title of their headlining “Fell In Love With A Cowgirl Tour,” which is slated to kick off next month with special guest Avery Anna. See the dates below.
“With new music coming early next year, there is energy and excitement around us and our whole team,” lead singer Matt Thomas said in a previously-issued press release. “We wanted to bring that energy to our fans as soon as we could, so we decided to do a headline tour starting in Feb 2025. We’ll bring the party back to some of the cities we played on the Kane Brown tour as well as some cities we’ve never been to. Can’t wait to kick off 2025 with the Parmlee Famalee.”
“Cowgirl” adds to a growing list of career-spanning hits by the group, along with “Gonna Love You,” “Take My Name,” “Just The Way,” “Caroline,” “Girl In Mine” and more. Find Parmalee’s music on iHeartRadio here, and listen to “Cowgirl” on your iHeartCountry stations.
