A tear-stricken Megan Moroney sought help from the “Karma Now! Hotline” after a relationship ended in heartbreak.

The reigning Country Music Association New Artist of the Year played multiple roles in her “6 Months Later” music video, which premiered on Wednesday (July 16). Moroney also co-directed the visual with CeCe Dawson. The opening scene captures the Georgia-born country star with curlers in her hair, snacking on a bowl of popcorn and flipping through channels on an old school TV as she cries over a breakup. That’s when a commercial for the “Karma Now! Hotline” catches Moroney’s attention, and she opts to call the number. Another character played by Moroney answers the hotline call, and takes steps to get revenge in a “hilarious RomCom-inspired” way, notes a press release issued Wednesday.

“If your summer has been ruined by a cheating, lying, and undeserving dude, it may be time for you to call the ‘Karma Now! Hotline’ too…”

Moroney wrote “6 Months Later” with Ben WilliamsDavid “Messy” Mescon and Rob Hatch. The lyrics tell the story of how she “survived” a “dramatic” split, and the song serves as “undeniable proof that living well is the best revenge,” per a previously-issued release. “6 Months Later” is Moroney’s latest single to release since “You Had To Be There,” a collaboration with country superstar Kenny Chesney.
