Bo's Note: Yeah… this is one I’m still working on. Because if I’m honest, I’ve spent a lot of my life expecting people to do the right thing… show up… follow through… be who I thought they were. And when they didn’t, it’d eat at me. But peace didn’t show up until I stopped looking outward and started looking inward. When you raise your own standard… and stop depending on everybody else to meet it… something changes. You get quieter inside. You get stronger. And you stop giving other people control over how you feel.
