Jason Aldean will include a duet with his wife, Brittany Aldean, on his upcoming studio album.
The reigning Academy of Country Music Artist of the Decade revealed details about his new record, Songs About Us, on Friday (November 7). He also released three new songs from the 20-track project: “Help You Remember,” “Hard To Love You” and “Lovin’ Me Too Long.” Aldean’s Songs About Us will also include “How Far Does A Goodbye Go,” which arrived in September, in addition to collaborations with Luke Bryan (the title track), David Lee Murphy (“Dust on The Bottle”), and Brittany. The married duo team up on “Easier Gone,” written by Charles Kelley, Josh Kerr, Dave Haywood and Jimmy Robbins.
“It means the world when one of my songs helps someone through a hard time—or celebrates their best moments,” Aldean said in a statement. “This album is about all of that—the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Every track started with a real story or feeling, and together we turned those experiences into music. In the end, I realized this album is about all of us. These are songs about us.”
